The Herm football team have been training all summer and their hard work has paid off as they won both matches they played recently.  The score against Old Government United was 6 – 0 and they beat North Veterans 5 – 3.  Simon George, stand-in manager, said that the match against North Vets was a stunning match and that the team played well.

The squad shrinks next month when the White House Hotel closes and the seasonal staff who have been playing for Herm FC move away for the winter.  Meanwhile the rest of the team will continue training and will hopefully win a few more matches!
