Cheryl Latter, pictured centre, is in charge of coordinating the Holiday Cottage cleaning team.  She is joined by Fiona (left) and Jos (right).  They have all got children in Herm school so as soon as the school bell is rung they meet in the linen room and get ready for a mornings work.  Fiona also has a pre-school child, Emy who often joins the cleaning team.  Jos has three school age boys, two of whom weekly board on Guernsey so she is able to fit in other work around looking after her family.  She bakes cakes for the snack bar at The Mermaid Tavern, cleans the school and inputs invoices for the accounting team!    When the cottages are clean and the guests all settled Cheryl then has to find some time to write the Herm column for the Guernsey Press.  When you live on an island you have to be prepared to do whatever work there is available!
