Yesterday was a ‘Herm day’ – one of those days when it’s hot from the moment the sun rises until it sets with just a gentle breeze blowing. The perfect opportunity for holiday-makers and locals to make that trip across the Little Russell and spend the day on Herm! The weather coincided with an afternoon high tide so the harbour and beaches were busy with boaters. Let’s hope that we have plenty more ‘Herm days’ this summer.
