Despite the weather being gloomy I decided to get up early and enjoy the peace and quiet on Belvoir and watch the sunrise on the longest day of the year. It wasn’t quite as good as 2010 but still worth the early start. You can’t beat sitting on an empty beach enjoying a cup of tea from a flask! I’ll still be up to take a photo of the sunset so let’s hope the sun comes out before then!
It wasn’t warm enough to sit on the beach for a barbecue so instead I watched the sunset from the top flat in The Manor. Despite the day not being very sunny the sunset was reasonable. The roof of St. Tugual’s Church is in the foreground.
