Sunrise on Herm on the longest day

by Herm, Monday 21 June 2010 07:48

Sometimes it’s good to do something a little bit different.  As 21 June is the longest day of the year I decided to get up for the sunrise.  The big orange ball started peeping out at 5.04am.  Unfortunately it went straight under a band of cloud but thirty minutes later it came out again.  It’s going to be a lovely day so hopefully we’ll get a good sunset too.  The sun sets today at 9.20pm Sunrise at 5.04am on Herm from Belvoir Bay on 21 June 2010 The longest day

I'm looking forward to seeing the sunset too and have my camera ready so watch the blog for photos of that.  Just about to go to the beach for a barbecue to enjoy the evening sunshine before it sets at 9.20pm!
