Gift Shop Sales Assistant (Part-Time, 8, 5 and 3 Month Contracts)

This is a superb opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with sales and retail experience to enhance their skills within this unusual unique retail environment.
As the Gift Shop Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for performing efficient sales transactions and providing a high level of service to all customers.
Working closely with the Manager, you will ensure that customer satisfaction is achieved and the shop is correctly merchandised. You will be handling cash and processing credit card transactions.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Sales or retail experience preferably in Gift shops or clothing brands merchandise,
- A proven track record of merchandising, sales and stock control and cash handling.
As a Gift Shop Sales Assistant, you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and a focus on providing good customer service at all times. The ability to work within a small retail team environment is key as are great interpersonal skills.
