Experience an evening of whisky tasting at The White House Hotel marquee in Herm, including 3-course meal and return Isle of Herm ferry tickets.
What to Expect
- Hosted by David Wood (former Distillery Manager at Caol Ila Distillery on Islay Island)
- A tasting of 5 single malt whiskies from around Scotland
- You’ll hear about the history of the Scotch whisky industry
- A look into whisky production
- How to taste whisky and choosing glassware
- A fun and factual event exploring Scotch whiskies whilst avoiding the usual anecdotes
David has worked with Scotch whisky for 30 years, while owning his own wine merchants with wife Léonie, he launched his own brand of single malt whisky and rare, single cask bottlings. In 2012, he made a dream move to the Hebridean Isle of Islay to work at the iconic Lagavulin and Caol Ila distilleries. A year later, David became Distillery Manager where his favourite whisky was made. David and his team take pride in spreading the Scotch whisky word far and wide!
£70 per person, ticket price includes:

Departures to Herm from Guernsey on the Isle of Herm ferry at 7pm, returns from Herm at 10.30pm
