Now in it’s sixth year on Herm Island, the Lord’s Taverners Herm cricket weekend is the pinnacle of the Guernsey Lord’s Taverners event calendar.

If you would like to watch the match, it begins at 11:00 in Moss Field, close by to Seagull Campsite. There is a beer tent along with a food stall operated by the Mermaid Tavern team. Entry to the ground is free of charge.

Celebrities from stage, screen and sport will be in attendance and playing the game, along with some of the Guernsey cricket team. Amongst the confirmed celebrity attendees are Chris Tarrant, Steve McFadden (AKA Eastenders’ Phil Mitchell), former England cricketer Andy Caddick, Lorraine Chase, Struan Roger, Felix Francis, Ricky Groves and Perry Fenwick.

The day is part of a three day event with the Friday and Saturday evenings in Guernsey.

The event raises money for the Guernsey Lord’s Taverners, who raise funds to give the young people of Guernsey a sporting chance. This would not be possible without the sponsorship of JT, who are in their sixth year of supporting the event.

Saturday 19th August 2017 Herm Fun Run

The Herm Fun Run starts at 3.00pm from Herm harbour. Register on the day.

22 - 24 September 2017 WINE TASTING WEEKEND at The White House Hotel

Enjoy tasting six wines each evening in the comfort of The White House Hotel lounges prior to an excellent four-course dinner in the Two Rosette Conservatory Restaurant. Taste five sparkling wines and Champagnes on Sunday morning by the pool, prior to a traditional Sunday lunch in the Conservatory Restaurant.

The tastings will be led by wine merchants, growers and Herm’s CEO Jonathan Watson, who is fanatical about finding exciting wines to add to the wine lists of Herm Island. His searches not only include the wine merchants of Guernsey and the UK, but also exploration of the vineyards of France. You can expect to see some classics, and some lesser known wines of quality and distinction. The emphasis is on education, exploration and appreciation, with a good dose of humour along the way.

This weekend includes four-course dinner on both evenings and breakfast on both mornings in the Two Rosette Conservatory Restaurant, return Travel Trident tickets, two evening wine tastings, Champagne/wine tasting by the pool and Sunday lunch.

2 nights from £250 per person. An additional 3rd night can be added at £85.00 per person.
Price is based on two adults sharing a room.
